Sista onsdagen i månaden håller vi en träff runt temat Extreme Collaboration. Ett specifikt ämne för den här kvällen är inte bestämt ännu.

En workshop där du upplever eXtreme Collaboration genom att bygga LEGO i lag. Vässa din samarbetsförmåga på riktigt.

VAD ÄR DET HÄR?

Det här är en workshop för dig som vill vässa din samarbetsförmåga på riktigt.

Vi använder en snabb, kreativ och intensiv övning där samarbete står i centrum. Den här gången delar vi upp oss i två lag och bygger LEGO tillsammans. Bygget är “bara en ursäkt” för att uppleva hur det faktiskt känns att jobba i ett högt tempo med tydliga begränsningar, kreativt tryck och konstant koordinering.

LÄRANDEMÅL

Efter workshopen kommer du ha bättre koll på:

• Hur människor reagerar när samarbetsreglagen vrids upp till 11
• Hur en riktigt samarbetsstark grupp ser ut och känns i praktiken
• Hur du kan anpassa arbetsmiljö, arbetssätt och ramar för att förbättra grupparbete
• Varför eXtreme Collaboration behövs i mjukvaruutveckling och produktleverans

UPPLÄGG

• Deltagarna delas in i två lag.
• Varje lag får ett LEGO-uppdrag och bygger under tidspress med gemensamma mål och begränsningar.
• Fokus ligger på kommunikation, rollfördelning, synk, feedback-loopar och hur ni hanterar friktion när tempot ökar.

Välkommen till Appnästet

Appnästet är en lek i grupp där vi tar fram tekniska lösningar på verklighetstrogna problem. För dig som vill lära dig mer om mjukvaruutveckling i praktiken, skapa kontakter i yrkeslivet och ha kul.

Vem kan delta?

Workshopen riktar sig till studenter och yrkesverksamma som intresserar sig för teknik och roller inom mjukvaruutveckling. Workshopen förutsätter att du älskar teknisk problemlösning och har programmerat eller vill programmera. På någon nivå; bas eller avancerad.

Hur går det till?

Appnästet delas in i 3 faser, som tillsammans tar cirka 1,5h att genomföra.

Fas 1: Deltagarna delas in i grupper. Varje grupp får varsitt affärsproblem. Gruppen resonerar och kommer fram till en teknisk lösning.

Fas 2: Grupperna presenterar, förtydligar gör reklam för sina respektive lösningar.

Fas 3: Grupperna splittras och deltagarna blir Investerare och förväntas buda på gruppernas lösningar. I denna fas kan Deltagarna arbeta ensamma eller samarbeta. Bjuda på egna eller andras lösningar.

How

During three hours the participants will experience how it is to work extremely close. In a simulation of a software project, the participants will turn requirements and wishes into a product. They will write a story together. In Google Docs.

The participants will be experiencing:

• integration conflicts, technical and social
• unclear requirements from stakeholders
• colleagues with a different view of the problem

Just like real software development projects, but with the twist that you are a part of an eXtreme team.

Learn to

After the workshop the participants will have experienced:

• follow and lead others, in a high pace
• work in dynamical hierarchies
• be creative with others
• act without fully agreeing
• collaborate with other extreme teams

En del av professionella kockars förberedelser innefattar Mise en place. Bokstavligen - “allt i ordning”. Verktyg och ingredienser inom räckhåll. Upphackat, portionerat, klart. Ett systematiskt sätt att förbereda sig inför tillagning av en måltid, tillika en självklarhet på fina restauranger.

Metoden visar på kraftiga psykologiska effekter, utöver de praktiskt tillämpbara fördelarna. Metoden sätter nämligen begränsningar på vad du kan göra, och det underlättar och förenklar paradoxalt nog processen.

The café is open for experts and beginners (and even intermediates). If you are completely new to Clojure, but curious, this is the perfect setting to help set your first toy or serious project up, ask the most basic questions, and just generally be in a jolly company when taking those first steps. If you’re an expert on something, be ready to share and help. But also expect to be able to get help and input for anything even half Clojure related.

The office has coffee and maybe some snacks too. When you get hungry, you eat your brought food or go out and bring up something edible from some nearby restaurant.

This is a workshop for people who are looking to improve their collaboration game.

During the workshop the participants will write a story together in Google docs. But that’s just an excuse to experience what it’s like to work in a highly paced, creative and truly collaborative way.

Learning outcomes:

• How people react when the collaboration knobs are turned to 11
• What a collaborative group look and feel like
• How you can adapt your working environment to improve group work
• Why eXtreme Collaboration is needed in software development efforts

Process: The participants are divided into groups of 3-4 persons. Each group needs at least one computer with Internet access to Google Docs.
